Dear High Street,
In the spirit of connection and intergenerational learning, we are thrilled to introduce our
new “High Street Pen Pals: Kids & Caring Adults” program! This initiative pairs
children in our congregation with adult members in a joyful exchange of letters, stories,
and shared values.
Whether through handwritten notes, drawings, or shared reflections, this program will
help our children feel supported by a wider circle of care while giving adults a chance to
share wisdom, curiosity, and kindness.
How It Works:
-Children (ages 6–12) and interested adults will be paired thoughtfully by our
team.
-Optional group gatherings will celebrate the connections made!
Safety First:
All correspondence will be facilitated through the Religious Education team to ensure
privacy and appropriateness.
We are looking forward to seeing you!! Dear adult at High Street, to launch our program
this summer we would like to have at least 10 adults ready to participate.
Please contact Paula if you are interested at dre@hsuuc.org
