Project 2025: A Religious-Liberty Critique

Presented by The Rev. Dr. Andrew Manis
There’s been a lot of talk lately about Project 2025, a document produced by the Heritage Foundation (a right-wing think tank). It purports to be a manual for government during the initial months of a hoped-for Trump presidency. Dr. Manis offers a critique of the document from a religious-liberty perspective.

Andrew M. Manis is retired Professor of History at Middle Georgia State University in Macon. He holds degrees from Samford University (Birmingham, AL) and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY). The author of five books (including several award winners), prior to his years at MGSU, Dr. Manis taught at Averett College (Danville, VA) and Xavier University (New Orleans). In 2009, he spent time in Greece (the home of his ancestors) as a Fulbright Fellow and taught at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki. He and his wife Linda live in Macon with their pups Crosby and Bentley.
