Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees at High Street Unitarian Universalist Church provides leadership, vision, and stewardship for our congregation. Grounded in our shared Unitarian Universalist values, the Board works to ensure the long-term health, sustainability, and mission of our church community.

The Board is responsible for setting policy, overseeing financial well-being, supporting the Minister and staff, and helping guide the direction of the congregation. Board members are elected from within the congregation and serve as trusted leaders who listen deeply, act thoughtfully, and work collaboratively.

We are committed to transparency, accountability, and open communication. We encourage members of the congregation to share their ideas, questions, and concerns, as we believe strong community is built through connection and participation.

Congregational Care Team

The Congregational Care Team is dedicated to nurturing connection, compassion, and support within our church community. Rooted in our shared values of care and kindness, this team helps ensure that no one in our congregation feels alone during times of joy, challenge, or transition.

One of the ways they share care is through thoughtful outreach—sending cards, notes, and messages to members who may need a little extra encouragement, recognition, or comfort. Whether someone is celebrating a milestone, experiencing a difficult time, or simply in need of a kind reminder that they are held in community, the Care Team is there.

Through small but meaningful acts of kindness, the Congregational Care Team helps lift spirits, strengthen relationships, and embody the loving presence of our congregation in everyday life.

If you or someone you know could benefit from a caring connection, we encourage you to reach out.
